Baby A, Twin Cities Newborn Photographer

Cozy days spent at home with a new little one are some of those memories that you’ll always have.

Yes, it is tiring and a lot of work!

But yes, it is so sweet and precious!

During Baby A’s newborn session, she was content and pretty happy.  Swaddling her up helped her drift off for some of my favorite photos.

Those comfy, sleepy newborn photos brought to mind a beautiful lullaby song by Christy Nockels.  Her recent album titled “Be Held: Lullabies For The Beloved” was promoted to my favorite album shortly after I purchased it (and listened to it on repeat while on maternity leave).

The song is called “Close Your Eyes” with the lyrics of;

“Close your eyes, just be held, and hear me say how dearly you’re loved. And when you rest, that is best, and you shine brighter when you wake up.”

What more beautiful words can be said (or sung) to a precious sleeping babe in a new mothers arms?

A babe who won’t stay small for long…

Looking at Baby A’s tiny fingers and toes reminded me how my own son has grown so quickly from that little babe to a busy, toddling boy.  I just keep trying to capture each little moment as time goes by and hold on to that memory forever.

Jason & Madison, I couldn’t be happier for the opportunity to photograph little baby A;  Thank you!  I loved spending time with you, and meeting your sweet girl.

“Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth.” Psalm 127:3-5 NASB
