In October we headed up north for one last camping trip before the long, cold winter. We decided to go to Jay Cooke State Park since it looked like the perfect place to get some great shots of fall scenery. It was an amazingly warm weekend with temps in the 80′s; ideal for fall camping. We had a great time hiking along the St. Louis River and even swung by Duluth before heading home.

Great pics! We haven’t camped in tents in quite a while – we’re spoiled with parents that have a pop-up. Makes me want to go though!
